Over the years, Google has grown, matured and changed in how they manage its search engine results.
The SEO of yesterday from Google’s eye would have looked something like this:
Technical SEO would refer to on page/off page techniques including keyword research, meta tags key word insertion, link building (black and white hat) and a host of other “technical” tactics that were (and still are) employed.
But Google has slowly changed and will continue to do so in the pursuit of trying to be the most relevant and useful machine learning tool known to the common Internet user. This has been demonstrated by its Panda/Penguin updates.
Today, Google sees things differently.
A lot of more “human” things matter to Google that include usability of a site, the community, social signals, brands, and the overall “buzz” of a piece of content. We believe, technical SEO will always matter, but to be successful in Google and rank high on its SERP, it’s going to take a holistic approach to making sure all the pieces of the puzzle – Content, Social, SEO technique is aligned.
So we believe in good content posted on great sites. We believe in high quality backlinks from high domain authority sites and PR sites and an integrated social media program that generates social signals, shares, embeds and comments. Content Marketing drives Search Engine Results.
