The examples below come from several projects we helped our clients deliver in the eCommerce space. Three Examples of B2B Partner Marketing Campaigns
Example One: Adobe | Magento’s The Mystery of Who Killed Mr. Profits
The Mystery of Who Killed Mr. Profits campaign was launched to help retailers identify common profit killers and gain best practices for maximizing their conversions.
The typical eCommerce merchant spends a great deal of time investigating ways to maximize revenue and profits. Adobe | Magento has a partner network that’s ideally suited to help merchants solve these challenges. They needed a B2B partner marketing campaign to help share partners’ expertise in a succinct and entertaining way.
What We Did
Working with Adobe | Magento and 16 of their ecosystem partners, TPM built a creative campaign to highlight the most common eCommerce profit killers and deliver actionable tips to help merchants avoid them.
Inspired by the iconic game Clue, TPM conceived a murder mystery campaign that centered around the death of Mr. Profits. The lead investigator, Detective Adobe | Magento, walks readers through a series of suspects and clues to Mr. Profits’ murder, and offers expert advice from partners to help readers avoid profit-killing activity on their own sites.
Given the diversity of Adobe | Magento’s merchant audience, two sub-campaigns were created (set against different murder mystery backgrounds) to highlight the unique challenges of both enterprise and growth-stage merchant groups.
The campaign was rolled out through a variety of deliverables, including:

Example Two: Adobe | Magento’s The Journey of a Gift Campaign
The Journey of a Gift campaign was designed to give eCommerce retailers a roadmap to help them succeed ahead of the 2019 Holiday Season — and to generate leads for 9 of Adobe | Magento’s ecosystem partners.
What We Did
In an effort to help merchants put their best foot forward for their busiest time of the year, Adobe | Magento wanted to create a clever holiday-themed guide to advise merchants on best practices in eCommerce site optimization. In response, TPM delivered a creative campaign plan that clearly illustrated how each partner could help merchants drive great customer experiences.
The Journey of the Gift campaign depicted the stages a product (the gift) passes through before reaching the buyer. Each ecosystem partner contributed to a different stage in that journey. The end result was a series of deliverables featuring whimsical holiday season storytelling, playful illustration, real-life customer stories, and insights gleaned from interviews with Adobe | Magento’s 9 campaign partners:

Once completed, each partner then received a custom copy of the eBook with their own promotional material to generate leads for their business.

Example Three: eCommerce 2020: The Future is Now
The Future is Now campaign was created to give Adobe | Magento merchants and system integrators an overview of eCommerce trends and best practices for 2020 and beyond.
Adobe | Magento sought an innovative partner marketing campaign to kick-off 2020. They hired TPM to create a guide that would give merchants practical advice for succeeding in the year to come and beyond. The guide included involvement from 14 partners within the Adobe | Magento ecosystem, including:
